WHO WE ARE?
PERSGA is the Regional Organization for the Conservation of the Environment in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden.
PERSGA is an IGO have seven member states, including Djibouti, Egypt, Jordan, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen.
PERSGA is hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Jeddah.
PERSGA facilitates the coordination of efforts among its member states to develop and implement collective strategies for the conservation of marine environment in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden. By collaborating at a regional level, PERSGA member countries address environmental threats, such as overfishing, marine pollution and destruction of sensitive habitats. This coordination helps create uniform policies and standards across the region.
